Our meals were just wonderful, with an authentic French influence. Each course was beautifully presented. For me the stand out dish was my entre - a very delicately flavoured salmon tart. The service by our French waiter, who had a wonderful sense of humour, was excellent yet unobtrusive.
Although we chose to BYO, the restaurant is fully licenced. I recommend Sous le Soleil to anyone seeking a very special dining experience in a sophisticated yet relaxed setting. Dear Fernsie, Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted that you have grasped the DNA of our little restaurant: We are looking forward to seeing you again. We shared a perfectly prepared salmon tarte with a chicory salad, which complemented the dish very well. The scallop entree with also perfectly cooked with beautiful sauces and gels balancing the golden-seared scallops.
We both had the eye fillet, rare, and it came out perfectly rare and well-rested. It sliced like butter and there was an umami-rich sauce within the pomme Anna which added to my enjoyment. The beautiful setting added to our experience. The fountain splashing in the central courtyard within a park blushing with autumn leaves was lovely. Service was friendly, helpful and swift.
Phenomenal experience Sous Le Soleil. We are delighted to hear you had a great time with us and we are looking forward to seeing you soon. At lunch here with friends. We sat on the verandah.

From the minute we walked in we were surrounded by beautiful colour. Interesting shop at Reception. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We ordered from the Entree list and mains and were pleasantly surprised by the flavours of our dishes. I ordered the Tea soaked prawns and with that I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc recommended for this dish.
The dish was small 4 prawns but the flavour was lovely, I should have ordered a main size but the bread we had to accompany the food was good and filled a hole.

The frites or plate of chips were really nice too. We didn't order dessert but the coffee was good. I would recommend this place for lunch, we all loved it.
