Though dated, the wild promises it makes in regards to nanotech for the near future i. Atkinson's book makes nanotech look like the cold fusion of the s. Oct 29, Marklandman rated it liked it Shelves: I liked the book, author keep things moving so I never got bored and I appreciated his humor.

Even though it is an "old" book by tech standards I found it still had some information I didn't know before. If I had read this book 10 years ago when it was first published it would have blown my mind. Mar 26, Zack Field rated it really liked it. As a scientist this book had plenty of faults in reasoning, but as an enthusiast I couldn't put it down.
